Database, Maps, and Publication Credits
The original Tennessee Vascular Plant occurrence database and Fungus collections database were developed by Q. Victor Ma. Online database SQL programming and scripting was created by John Ma from the UT Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. The database web format, design, and layout were produced the UT College of Arts and Sciences Digital Communications Team. Distribution maps were originally created by former student Teresa Lange and other graduate students. County diversity maps were originally created by former student Greg Schmidt.

The original Fungus Collections Database entries were done by Ronald H. Petersen and his graduate students
The Vascular Plant Collection Data is now available via SERNEC (https://sernecportal.org/portal/). The Fungal Collection Data is now available on the Mycological Collections Portal (https://sernecportal.org/portal/) and the Consortium of Lichen Herbaria (https://lichenportal.org/portal/).
The Bryophytes herbarium database was originally written on dBase and converted to the Microsoft Access application by David K. Smith and Ken McFarland. The Bryophyte Collection Data is now available on the Consortium of Bryophyte Herbaria (https://bryophyteportal.org/portal/).
